Mike Robinson is a lover of fantasy, science fiction, and supernatural thrillers. He was influenced at a young age, introduced to classic fantasy and sci-fi in is early teens. He knew he wanted to write at a young age, as he sat and listened to tales made up by his father.
He started role-playing in the early eighties, when these game systems just started to emerge on the scene. He has played many role-playing systems and still games today. He loves to create worlds and creatures, weaving tales of politics and suspense into his gaming style.
Mike also loves to study the supernatural, and is currently involved in a local Ghost Hunting group based in Pittsburgh. He has had many of "odd" encounters over the years and enjoys lurking in dank dark places rumored to be "haunted".
Mike graduated from Karns City High School in Karns City, Pennsylvania in 1982, then spent ten years in the U.S. Air Force. After completion of his ten years, he finished his electrical engineering degree at Penn State, in New Kensington Pa. Mike currently lives in Robinson Township, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Realm of Shadow is his first novel.
